SALES & PAYMENT POLICIES
PAYMENT OPTIONS: We accept PayPal payments by Visa, MasterCard, American Express or Discover Card. PayPal orders will be processed automatically at the time that the order is submitted. Simply add the desired item to your shopping cart, and follow the instructions to proceed with check out. We will ship your order as soon as your payment has been received.
If you prefer to order by telephone, pay by check through the mail, or wire transfer the money directly from your bank, please contact us before placing your order. We can always be reached at firstname.lastname@example.org. Please note that wire transfers will be subject to additional fees.
PRIVACY / SECURITY: We do not sell or share our customer’s information with third parties. PayPal, which uses the Secure Sockets Layer protocol (SSL), ensures that your order will be processed with the greatest degree of security and privacy.
OUT-OF-STOCK POLICY: We do our best to stay stocked, however, if your merchandise is momentarily unavailable, we will let you know immediately by sending you an e-mail. If the product is still available, we will be happy to reorder and ship the item within 6-8 weeks. Please understand that because of the exclusive, limited-edition nature of our products, this is sometimes not possible.
SHIPPING POLICY: In-stock items will ship within 2-3 business days depending on their availability and on credit verification. If your package is quite large, we may choose to use a different delivery service to ensure the safety of your delivery. AFFINITA’ MODERNE is not responsible for delays in shipping, including local delivery error or international customs issues, or for damage or loss during shipping. Before shipping, all items are double-checked and lovingly packaged.
Please double-check the accuracy of your shipping address when placing your order, so that your package will get to you as quickly and smoothly as possible. We ship with USPS Priority and USPS International Priority Air, we will not deliver to APO/FPO addresses, as well as to P.O. boxes, and we unfortunately, cannot offer Saturday delivery. We appreciate your understanding.

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING: For international orders, the customer will be responsible for all taxes and customs duties. Overseas deliveries are always subject to local import duties and taxes, all of which are payable by the customer upon receipt. Customs and excise delays may be affect delivery time. Furthermore, having passed through customs in your own country, your order may take additional time to reach you via your local carrier.
Please note that due to the high incidence of Internet fraud, we will ship internationally at our discretion.
SALES TAX: We are required to charge 8.875% sales tax on all orders shipped to New York State addresses or picked up in New York area. No sales tax will be applied to purchases delivered outside of New York State, including international addresses.
SPECIAL REQUESTS: Please let us know if you have special requests when placing your order by writing to us at email@example.com: special requests may include personal requests regarding packaging, the inclusion of a gift card and requests that we not include a receipt, a request for multiple shipping orders or rush orders, etc.
RETURN POLICY: We take great pride in our products. If for any reason you are dissatisfied with your purchase, returns will be accepted for store credit or for merchandise of equal value only. Credit will remain valid for one year from the date of purchase. Returns must be made within 20 days of the order date and custom and special order items or discounted merchandise are all considered a FINAL SALE.
HOW TO RETURN MERCHANDISE
Please note: it is essential that the customer contact us to obtain a return authorization prior to returning merchandise. At that time we will provide return instructions and an address to which you may mail your insured and carefully packed item, along with a copy of the receipt. Merchandise must be returned unused and in the unopened, original packaging.
C.O.D. deliveries cannot be accepted and we do not refund for shipping charges. All shipping costs will be the responsibility of the customer and we do not accept responsibility for any items lost or stolen in transit.
